Al Zahia sponsorship represents ongoing commitment to the community

  Sharjah, January 13, 2016: Al Zahia, Sharjah’s first integrated mixed use gated community and sponsor of the Sharjah World Music Festival 2016, described the event as a major triumph for Sharjah. The inspirational festival took place across some of Sharjah’s premier locations including AL Majaz Amphitheatre, Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Qasba Theatre and Flag Island.

Al Zahia added to the attraction with interactive stands at the various venues throughout the event, showcasing their latest offerings with chances to win valuable prizes.

Festival visitors were treated to performances from top artists from the around the world including Tunisia, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Argentina, Hungary, Russia and Africa and enjoyed a variety of musical genres that ranged between opera, classical Arabic, Eastern and Western music and much more.

Al Zahia, a milestone development that will help diversify the real estate sector of the Emirate of Sharjah is owned by Sharjah Holding, a 50/50 strategic partnership between the Government of Sharjah and Majid Al Futtaim Properties. It is currently home to over 150 residents and will ultimately embrace over 12,000 people, creating an idyllic place for enjoying great moments with landscaped open spaces, themed parks, play areas, community and retail facilities on every corner.

Al Zahia is one of three Majid Al Futtaim mixed-use developments, which also include Lebanon Waterfront City, a vibrant, cosmopolitan hub that has all the benefits of a close-knit community and Al Mouj Muscat in Oman, with four thousand properties planned over six kilometres of pristine beach, all offering a safe environment with state-of-the-art facilities to work, rest, play, dine and shop on the residents’ doorsteps.
